#MUCHNESS!

My favourite book as a child was “Alice in Wonderland” by Lewis Carroll.

I was enchanted and read it many, many times. The story starts where Alice is lying in a field; bored, lethargic and tired. She has a powerful dream….

A white rabbit appears, and she follows him on a magical adventure down a rabbit hole. On her journey she meets a multitude of fantasy characters. Amongst them, the Mad Hatter, a small little guy with a huge top hat, makes a potent comment.

“You’re not the same as before. You used to much more… muchier. You’ve lost your muchness.”

I think we can all can relate to the Mad Hatter’s comment. muchness? Kobi Yamada defines it. “The full -hearted abundance of hope, joy and imagination.” Each of us has it when we come into the world.” YOUR greatness. YOUR potential. The “cans” YOU were born to do.

As we grow older, life can get difficult and overwhelming. Tricky obstacles are placed on our paths. Our muchness may begin to fade as adulting takes over. We start to lose ourselves in the reality that the world is a big and scary place.

To rejuvenate your muchness,
you need to dig deep into yourself to rediscover it.

We maybe criticize ourselves, compare ourselves to others, we get disappointed or feel shame for the choices we have made, and we start losing our identity, who we really are. We overthink things and make situations more challenging than they are.

When this has happened to you, remember that you haven’t lost your muchness. It has only been suppressed. It might have been pushed down, squashed by life’s difficulties. To rejuvenate your muchness, you need to dig deep into yourself to rediscover it. The hidden GOLD in you!

When you step into your muchness, things will change. YOU will feel lighter and won’t have to carry the weight of others. YOUR thoughts will become less reactive and more spacious. YOU will see possibilities where you maybe saw judgement or rejection.

muchness doesn’t mean to be loud or more dramatic. It isn’t about dominating a space. It is about living in your full expression, your authentic self in a way that feels true and safe for you. It’s showing up fully in your life, without apology and without self-diminishment!

Metaphorically speaking, going down a rabbit hole, as Alice did, means questioning your perceptions and your reality itself. This is not always easy. This takes courage. However, finding your muchness again, is one of the most important keys to live a fulfilled, optimistic life.

REMEMBER:

The world doesn’t need you watered down.

It needs you in full colour.

In full volume.

In full muchness.
